New Fuchs Crane In Operation 01-12-2017
Quality Freight has acquired a Fuchs MHL390 crane through an investment of over £700,000, with the new product capable of handling over 400 metric tonnes per hour on cargoes.
It is a great addition to our UK armoury, which comprise a MHL360 wheeled crane, a Liebherr 150 crane and an RHL340 tracked crane on quay side at our Ellesmere Port terminal.
This further investment in the business will allow us to boost bulk volumes in the port, enhance customer service through quicker vessel turnaround and permit multi-vessel workings.
Additionally, the investment allows QFG to provide a more flexibility to customers with the use of our mobile crane fleet to client sites as we regularly transport the cranes at short-notice to locations across England’s north-west.
The new mobile crane service is part of our total logistics service in the UK and is a welcome addition to our 40-acre multi-modal facility in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire.
