Quality Freight U.K. was formed in 2000, a highly focused chartering agency and logistics operation, chartering over 800 vessels a year being the foremost chartering operation in the north west of the U.K. Initially developed to service short-sea requirements of blue chip clients, which further developed into world wide chartering vessels being fixed to and from all continents. In addition we also service over 700 agencies per year. Ths business has further developed, now offering agency services throughout the U.K. with suitably qualified on the spot professionals. Substantial business is provided by a leading U.K. shipper of aggregate for whom in addition to other blue chip clients, we are moving up to 2 million tonnes of cargo.

A substantial part of this agency/chartering activity relates to its close links/parent company ownership of Edward Nicholson Ltd.

A recent development arising for this volume of chartering has been our entry into Ship Management, which has seen the company initially take control of two vessels, both of which are capable of load and discharge up to 2,800 tonnes capacity.
